Our Perfect Holiday Home

We offer something a little different to the usual holiday rental cottages, and have an ethical commitment to re-cycling and re-purposing.   Aiming for a 3*+ homely feel our holiday home has a quirky arty / crafty / music bias.  We offer discounts at our sister company, local craft shop Amble Pin Cushion, which sells yarn, fabric, craft kits etc. as well as running courses and doing alterations.  We also offer guitar, mandolin, piano and ukele tuition and have contacts with other activities and tutors.  Please contact us in advance of your arrival to book any of these.

Whether here for quiet relaxation or vigorous activities, to see our wildlife or just enjoy the stunning peaceful scenery, for creative pursuits or just to get away from it all, we believe this holiday home is the perfect place for you with easy access around our beautiful county.

Directions to Amble and Cast Off

When you arrive in Amble, drive down Queen Street, the main shopping street (one way), giving way at the two crossroads. After Tesco on the left, bear left and curve around town square, passing the Coastguard Station, Harbour Village retail pods and Northumberland Seafood Centre and Hatchery on the left.

Continue driving along Leazes Street passing the Quayside Café on the left, and on reaching the Harbour Fish Bar, also on your left, you are virtually opposite Amble Cast Off. In the unlikely event that you are unable to park on Leazes Street, carry on to the end, turn right on Newburgh Street and immediately right again onto Smith Street. You can then park towards the rear of the property.
